Tonight walking through a for once empty Market street, you cant help but feel promotion has flawed what should be a great turnout tonight, this being proven by the minute turnout boasted here tonight.

Maybe it wasn’t advertised enough, maybe with one band pulling out people were put off, but tonight really is desert. A few fans knocking in to stay true to the bands.

With the quality of tonight’s music is hard to see why the place isn’t full to the brim, each band displaying potential to knock that bloody crazy frog ring tone off the no.1 spot in the charts…. But not such justice I guess!

First up are UNSEEN HIERACY, local Hard rock five piece, and tonight the lack of people really doesn’t put them off.

Scorching thorough thirty minutes of what can only be called blazing rock, the guys certainly impress those of us here, beating our skulls with screeching guitars, roaring harmonic vocals and enough charisma to kill the strongest rhino the guys kick A**, and certainly make a nice change to usual Emo/Screamo the café brags.

The guys are seriously one of the most together and unpredictable hard rock acts around, and the fact these guys aren’t signed is absolutely criminal.

We salute you UNSEEN HIERACHY, you are just the change we needed, if only more people could have heard…..

After a brief pause, The band who’s parents seem to have been waiting for all night finally take to the stage, needing no introduction, we have BOHICA.

Recently signed to Copro records, bragging a video release on mtv2 and a full length album release you would have thought these guys were pretty nifty.

How embarrassing it must be to be out staged by your support band, never the less the guys put on a reasonably un-energetic almost hour of metal-rock same-old.

Although very together and on top of their  material, every song ends with the feeling something could have been better, showing as much stage presence as a Flea the guys fail to make up for the lack of people, maybe this was just a bad night for them but something isn’t there.

Let down by lack of stage presence and people, the night is brightened by the proof that there is more to plantation than emo/screamo nights here at plantation ……. Just a shame no one found out about it L

Keep safe
