Tonight the modest venue is rather vacant, obviously due to a lack of promotion. Which is a shame as the quality of the music here tonight is really something.

Opening to a minute but appreciative crowd are out of town heavy-noise merchants DISCO COURAGE.

In their half an hour set we are treated to what can only be described as “the finest you’ll find this side of Britain of their league”.

The small crowd obviously doesn’t bother the guys tonight, as they’re on fire! And prove to us that with enough energy and tightness you can make even the smallest, emptiest of shows a groundbreaking event.

Think early Every time I Die with a hint of Glassjaw, mixed with tremendously precise breakdowns, heart-throwing screams and enough energy to send this country into the worst of global warming.

The guys really do prove to be a treat! And should definitely be looked up if your looking for the best of the rest.

Second to hit the bill are electronic rockers SPECTRUM 7.

Now the boys are a good band, there’s no doubt about that. Displaying a set of well written songs, tight drums and vocals and catchy guitar riffs.

But one can’t help but feel there is nothing groundbreaking to their name, there’s a lot of acts out there doing the electric rock circuit, and these guys are definitely no dent in the breaking acts appearing from there genre.

Never the less, the guys do a good job uncaring of the minute crowd.

Keep safe
