Gig Information

The gigs, like the cafe, are aimed at 13-25 year olds. The majority of our Gigs take place on the last Friday of the month. This does vary as we sometimes host the Battle Of The Bands and often put on other gig related events such as P150 Project, Open Mic Night and Club Nights.

Tickets: You can sometimes buy tickets for gigs in advance by popping into Plantation during cafe opening hours 1 week before the show but it is more likely that the tickets will be available to buy on the door. Tickets are normally £3.00. But this can vary depending on Artist &/or event. Please remember that when our gig capacity is reached we cannot sell any more tickets, so if you want to make sure you'll get in - get there early!

Times: Doors open at 8pm and the gig will finish by 11pm Please Note: No one is allowed onto Plantation property under the influence, or in possession of, drugs or alcohol. Staff and our door security team will search all bags on gig nights and will call the police if necessary For all gig and event news please check out our Facebook, Tumblr &/or MySpace. On September the 09th 2011, Plantation had its very first Club Night. "The end of Summer Rave" feature 3 awesome DJ's & 4 crazy staff members dressed as various animals! DJ Ted made his debut with Plantation at Guilfest during the summer of 2011 and will now make a regular appearance at the Plantation Club Nights.

P150 this year aims to bring something a little different to your Sunday night. There will be the opportunity to chillout and listen to live music as well as spending time reflecting and exploring life and the challenges that come your way. We also have guest speakers sharing their incredible stories about how a relationship with Jesus changed their lives. From reformed dealers and thieves to pro athletes and musicians - come and hear what they have to say. More info can be found on our website. Plantation on Tour is exactly what you are thinking. Well... maybe. A team of Plantation youth workers head out with a TV, Wii, Table Football, Marquee and a whole load of soft drinks and we venture out to a veriaty of different events and locations and set up a miniture equivellent to the Plantation Cafe.

In 2011 we took part in Guildford Borough Councils Street Clash and a weekender in Stoughton, just outside of Guildford, called The Big Tent Event.

For the last 5 years Plantation has had the privilege of contributing to Guildford's live music festival.

Each year has been bigger and better than the last and it has been an honor to play host to bands such as Black Iris, The After Party, Kill Claudio, Fearless Vampire Killers and many more. 

We have also had DJ's hosting club nights, young magicians performing ridiculous card tricks which will make your face melt, a full size (English) pool table, Table Football and a Nintendo Wii.

In 2010 we also had the opportunity to run a p150 style Praise and Worship evening with the help of our friends from Eternity Church.
