'Trading' is an ideal training ground for young people to access full time employment. They are supported as they learn new skills, many of which are transferable to different jobs. The discipline of regular work and one-to-one mentoring is a vital part of the social enterprise ethos.

Other work-based skills include organising one's time, punctuality, safe working practices, handling finances, managing a budget and learning appropriate behaviour for dealing with colleagues and clients.
